王骁副教授于2012年取得新加坡国立大学物理学专业博士学位。博士毕业后,他首先作为Rubicon学者在荷兰特文特大学进行博士后工作,随后作为博士后研究员在美国麻省理工学院机械工程系和电子研究实验室的开展研究。2016年加入新加坡南洋理工大学,并晋升为副教授。王骁副教授长期从事低维材料和磁性材料和器件的研究,承担多项研究课题,研究成果多次发表在Science, Nature Electronics, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials 等期刊上。
报告摘要:
Tailoring magnetic orders, such as magnetic anisotropy, magnetization and topological spin textures, is crucial for realizing high-performance spintronic devices. In this talk, I will present a series of our recent findings on controlling magnetic orders in ultrathin magnetic heterostructures, encompassing strongly correlated materials, magnetic metals, and layered materials. Employing magnetization and magnetotransport measurements, we demonstrated that effective electrical and dimensional control over various magnetic orders can be achieved. These findings have led to the discovery of technologically-promising functionalities. The emergent modulation of these diverse magnetic orders holds significant potential for future applications in high-capacity storage devices and advanced computing.
