Design graphene based functional nanomaterials from first principle

    Graphene has become a rising star in material science. Three kinds of novel nanostructures based on graphene will be theoretically proposed in this lecture: (1) tri-wing graphene nanoribbons which have compelling electronic and magnetic properties and might replace conventional graphene nanoribbons, (2) hydrogen passivated thin diamond films obtained from hydrogenation of few layer graphene, and (3) sealed graphene and graphene nanoribbons for electronic application.

 

个人简介:

朱立砚,男,2007保送东南大学物理系硕士研究生,2009年硕博连读,2010年获得教育部博士生学术新人奖,以及东南大学优秀博士论文基金资助,研究方向为低维功能纳米材料的第一性原理设计与研究,目前在国际核心期刊上已发表SCI论文多篇,其中第一作者SCI论文7篇,单篇最高影响因子12
