秦灏2009年在东南大学获得本科学位。2011年他在法国Telecom Bretagne 获得研究硕士学位，方向为光通信。同年，秦灏加入了2015年，秦灏在Telecom Paristech获得博士学位，研究课题为连续变量量子秘钥系统的攻防与实际应用。目前，秦灏是加拿大滑铁卢大学量子计算研究所（Institute for Quantum Computing）的博士后。秦灏的研究兴趣是量子秘钥分发系统的实际安全与应用，量子侧信道攻击与防御，量子秘钥设备标准化与认证。
摘要：Quantum cryptography, also known as Quantum Key distribution (QKD), distributes secret random bit between two remote parties Alice and Bob. In the presence of an eavesdropper, Eve, whose power is only limited by the laws of physics, QKD can still provide information-theoretic security in theory. However, in practice, the behaviors of implementations in QKD may not act exactly same as the theoretical models in security proofs. Such deviations can lead to security loopholes in practice and enable an eavesdropper to launch so-called side channel attacks and to break the security totally in practical QKD devices.
In this presentation Hao Qin will talk about his research activities in the quantum hacking lab （www.vad1.com）. Particularly, he will briefly introduce several quantum hacking attacks that have been recently reported by his group, which include the most famous attack: blinding attack, spatial mode mismatch attack, single photon detector back flash attack, laser damage attack, Trojan horse attack etc. Hao Qin will also discuss possible countermeasures against these attacks and efforts of his group in certification standards for quantum communication technology.
